a) Visit Malaysia logo


This logo which was adopted by the Ministry of Tourism of Malaysia with intention to create an identity to promote tourism in Malaysia. In the logo, you could see the multi colour flower, this particular flower is the Hibiscus which is commonly known as ‘Bunga Raya’ in Malay. Hibiscus is the national flower of Malaysia, so it represents a Malaysian identity.
"The red heart-shaped petal is symbolic of the people of Malaysia welcoming the world with open arms and open hearts."
"The five dots on the stamen represent the country's 50 years of independence."
"The yellow symbolizes our constitutional monarchy, belief in God, and the rule of law."
b) Pesta Air
This particular logo was created to promote water sport which was initiated by the Kedah State government in year 2004. The water sports include kayaking, canoeing, sailing, races in long boat, traditional boat or sampan, pedal boat and raft race. They also include ‘Songkran’, a water splashing culture practice by Thai communities to usher the Thai’s NewYear, which happen to be coincide with Thai’s New Year. Kedah had a numerous number of Thai communities.

c) Monsoon Cup
This logo was launched to promote the sail boat race in Malaysia. Monsoon Cup was held in Terengganu to attract many international sailors to compete in sailboats and yacht events from all around the world. It is an international event and last year 2008, the winner is Peter Gilmour. It is held in Pulau Duyong, Terengganu each year and normally held at the end of the year. This event was strongly promoted by our Malaysian actor, Datuk Michelle Yeoh.
