a) North South Expressway;- The North-South Expressway (NSE), a 772-km expressway extending from the border of Thailand in the north to the border of Singapore in the south, plays a major role in serving the needs of the road transportation industry for the coming decades. Constructed in phases over a period of seven years (from 1988 to 1995), the North-South Expressway was completed 15 months ahead of schedule and was fully operational by February 1994. It was officially opened on September 8 1994 by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato' Seri Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. The North-South Expressway starts at Bukit Kayu Hitam and ends in Johor Bahru, linking all major cities on the West Coast of Peninsular Malaysia between Thailand and Singapore.

b) SMART Tunnel;- Also known as the Stormwater Management and Road Tunnel is another mega construction, a unique of its own with the record of longest stormwater tunnel in South East Asia and second in Asia. The main objective of this tunnel is to solve the problem of flash floods in Kuala Lumpur and also to reduce traffic jams along Jalan Sungai Besi and Lok Yew flyover at Pudu during rush hour. There are two components of this tunnel, the stormwater tunnel and motorway tunnel. It is the longest multi-purpose tunnel in the world. It begins at Kampung Berembang lake near Klang River at Ampang and ends at Taman Desa lake near Kerayong River at Salak South. The project is led by the government, including Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) and the Department of Irrigation and Drainage Malaysia (Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran = JPS) and also a company joint venture pact between Gamuda Berhad and Malaysian Mining Corporation Berhad (MMC).

c) East Coast Highway;- (Malay: Lebuhraya Pantai Timur) (LPT) is an expressway in Malaysia. It is an extension of Kuala Lumpur-Karak Expressway, which starts from Kuala Lumpur to Karak. It provides a link from the West Coast of Peninsular Malaysia to the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. It features a closed toll system like the North-South Expressway. The speed limit on the expressway is 110 km/h (68 mph). .It is categorized in 4 phases;-
Phase 1 (Pahang): Karak - Jabur
Phase 2 (Terengganu): Jabur - Kuala Terengganu
Phase 3 (Kelantan): Kuala Terengganu - Kota Bharu
Phase 4 (East Coast of Johor): Gambang - Johor Bahru

d) Malaysia –Singapore Second Link; - Just known as the ‘Second Crossing’ or even ‘Linkedua’, the Second Link refers to the bridge that spans the stretch between Singapore and Malaysia. It extends a total of 44 km from Tanjong Kupang in Johor, Malaysia, to Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim in Tuas, Singapore.

The total length of the bridge over water is 1,920 m (6,300 ft).
The Second Link was first opened to traffic on 2 January 1998. It was officially opened on 18 April the same year by the Prime Ministers of both countries, namely Dato' Seri Dr. Mahathir Mohamad of Malaysia and Goh Chok Tong of Singapore.
