Malay Food - unique truly Malaysian.
The normal food available is lemang, ketupat and satay as waht we can see here.
Other type of Malay food are like nasi himpit, lontong ( a Malay style soup with vegetables) and Malay traditional kuih.
Satay is a Malaysian barbecue - using a skewer ( a tiny stick) to spike on chunks of meat. The meat are normally chicken, mutton and beef. It is then dip into a spicy peanut sauce before it is eaten. 
Ketupat
Famous state known as food paradise is Penang - all types of food - Chinese, Indian, Indian Muslim, Malay, Eurasian, Nyonya, Japanese, Thai and also Western .
Ketupat is made of normal rice cooked on a straw weaving like a fish and nasi himpit is rice cooked and then compressed into a block.
In Selangor- Satay Kajang is famous .
