3. Colour of yellow : -royalty / monarchy



4. 5 kerises - 5 unfederated states in Malaysia ( Kedah, Perlis,Terengganu, Kelatan, & Johor)



5. 5 colours - 5 federated states in Malaysia ; Pahang, Selangor, Perak


2 tigers holding the shield - Bravery


1 betel nut tree (Pinang tree) - Penang



1 Melaka tree - Melaka state




1 hornbill - Sarawak



1 flagbearer - Sabah

Hibiscus is also the National flower of Malaysia .
